In her own words...
The name Thistle Cottage Studio comes from a trip I took to the south of Scotland in 1995, and was so charmed by the fact that people name their houses. My next dream trip is to rent a Cotswold Cottage in England, see a play at the Globe Theater, visit Shakespeares' birthplace, and drink lots of good piping hot English tea in front of the fire!! I adore the U.K., English shabby chic, antiques, and vintage textiles, making masks, period hats and costumes, period movies and books, Jane Austen, and a more gentile way of life.
