In her own words...Based in Toronto, Canada, Podgehodge is a joint shop owned by Ruth (myself) and Daniel. Being recently opened, the shop is filled with prints and felt goodies by the two of us. Daniel is a videogame concept artist by day and his prints are clearly inspired by his favorite games and movies. With a background in fashion illustration from The Ontario College of Art and Design, my prints are inspired by historical costumes, fabled heroines, and colours found in haute couture fashion and nature. Lately I've been making felt accessories and playfood, fulfilling a crafty goal of mine. I am a huge lover of food, especially dessert, so it's only natural for me to make food inspired crafts.
