Misty Ridge Designs: Handmade Sterling Silver Copper & Gemstone Jewelry

In her own words...

Working with sterling silver, copper, semi-precious gemstones and the highest quality glass beads, I create unique hand made, wire wrapped artisan jewelry pieces that you won't find in your local jewelry store. I try very hard to create jewelry that will become long time staples in your jewelry collections. Fads come and go, but my creations will stand the test of time. These elegant designs are created for the classic streak in every woman. Many of my designs incorporate clean classic lines and shapes that never go out of style. You can also buy with confidence knowing that I use the highest quality materials possible and put the extra care and attention in to every piece to ensure durable, quality craftsmanship. Thank you again for your interest. Please take your time browsing the shop. I always welcome custom requests and will work with you to the best of my ability to produce a piece of jewelry to your unique specifications. You can feel free to contact me via the Etsy conversations function or via email sent to Premed61581@yahoo.com.

A little bit about me.
I am a self taught artist. I have been crafting in some form for as long as I can remember. In addition to my jewelry I enjoy painting, drawing, knitting, crocheting, and working with clay just to name a few. I am a native of Western North Carolina and currently run my Etsy business out of my home studio. I have worked in the health care field for most of my adult life and have degrees in both Biology and Nursing. I enjoy my art because it gives me a creative outlet and is a wonderful stress reliever. I have been making jewelry for about 2 years now and I am continuing to learn and branch out into several different jewelry making techniques. My latest interest is in using a non acidic environmentally friendly method to etch metal sheet which I can then use in my jewelry designs.
